Harvest 2026

19th August 2026

A Time To Share

Harvest is a time when communities come together to celebrate the food we have, give thanks for what we often take for granted, and think about those who may not have enough.

For foodbanks, Harvest is always a particularly meaningful time of year. It reminds us that food is something we can share — and that a small contribution from many people can make a huge difference to someone facing a difficult time.

As we head into this year’s Harvest season, we’d love for you to get involved in whatever way works for you. This might be bringing in a few extra items during your weekly shop, organising a collection at your school, workplace, church or community group, or simply sharing our message with others.

There is no expectation to give more than you can afford. Every donation, however small, is appreciated and helps us continue supporting people in our local community.

If you are organising a Harvest collection, we would be delighted to hear from you and can provide information about the items we currently need most.

Harvest is ultimately about community, gratitude and sharing what we have. Thank you to everyone who helps us turn that spirit into practical support for people who need it.

Together, we can make sure that no one in our community has to face a difficult season alone.
