Hours: Tuesday &/or Thursday mornings

Role Overview
We are looking for a reliable and friendly volunteer to help collect and deliver food supplies for the foodbank. The role involves driving an electric van and safely loading, unloading and moving food crates.
Key Tasks
- Drive the foodbank’s electric van safely and responsibly.
- Collect and deliver food supplies to agreed locations.
- Load and unload food crates and supplies.
- Check that food is transported safely and securely.
- Carry out basic checks of the van before and after use.
- Work respectfully with foodbank staff, volunteers and members of the community.
- Follow all relevant health, safety and driving procedures.
About you – Essential Requirements
- Full, valid driving licence.
- Physically able to lift and move food crates safely.
- Comfortable driving an electric van.
- Friendly and respectful approach.
Desirable
- Previous experience driving a van or carrying out deliveries.
- Previous experience volunteering or working with a community organisation.
